Recently wed myself, I understand how much time and planning goes into every detail of a wedding. Whether you know exactly which songs are wanted or would like suggestions, I am happy to meet your musical needs.
Prelude music is usually 15-30 min’s before the ceremony to help set the mood as guests are arriving.
Processional music is generally 1-3 songs, played as the bride and bridal party walk down the aisle. Typically, one song is played during the entry of the bridal party and then another song for the bride. Suggestions include:
-Bridal Chorus, "Here Comes the Bride" -Canon in D -Joyful Overture -Prelude
Recessional music is traditionally upbeat and celebratory as the couple has just been pronounced as husband and wife. To continue with the mood, I can continue playing while your guests leave the ceremony as well. Suggestions include:
-Wedding March -Ode to Joy -Ribambelle No. 10 -La Gimblette
Some couples also chose to have music played during their ceremony. I am happy to discuss and accommodate those needs as well. To determine the exact musical needs for your special day, please contact me.
I have been performing at weddings for over 10 years, and have plenty of suggestions and recommendations for weddings. I also realize how individual a wedding is and will do my best to accommodate your requests.
